Far away, in the debris field, the five Gretches searched for Syrenia’s D.A.S. Evasor in vain, but then all five sensor arrays picked up the faint signature of a starship racing along a parallel course far below them in an uncharted sector. Three of the five Gretches sped to intercept it at maximum velocity while two remained in the debris field, scouting for Syrenia’s ship. As Syrenia disparaged, she put her Kyrie helmet back on and used its search vision by verbal command, “Search mode engage, find usable technology, execute”. The view screen inside the helmet switched from visual tracking mode to a bright green search mode with the directional scanning streams visible. Slowly, Syrenia moved about picking up faint targets here and there… but nothing useful… not yet. After moving back towards the male JunKar’s former dwelling a strong signal was picked up and an object appeared buried lightly under some debris. Syrenia switched back to visual mode and sifted through the debris until she held in her hands a strange optical device- Bo’s Zoomba. Removing her helmet, she turned the unit on and looked through the strange vision plate. It took some time for her to get used to the strange visual displays and carefully she rotated in a circle. This was a multi-vision lectronically layered device which was programmed to detect… scrap? All around here the device kept beeping at worthless metal junk, except for her ship Evasor of which the device picked up traces from her small Rekurium reactor. “This is useless to me” Syrenia sighed with her head lowered. She just wanted to stare into the heavens and looked up only to discover that the debris field was being displayed and auto-focused as if the device had returned to the point of it’s last recorded target. Syrenia could see in great detail the objects in the field and then the impossible was sighted. “Two Gretches, here? Lord Rexor is a traitorous bastard, but now I’ll be able to return home!” Enthusiastically, Syrenia ran back to her D.A.S. Evasor with all speed to her D.A.S. Evasor. Although all instrumentation and control systems were beyond repair, all Sith star fighters had a manual self-destruct mechanism both in the cockpit and built into the hull near the reactor core- which was still hot. The fuel tanks were full as well. Climbing up on the Evasor’s port upper delta wing Syrenia made it to the starboard side emergency panel and manually unhinged it. Inside. a manual code ring was located. Syrenia removed her gauntlet from her right hand and inserted her fingers into the rotary numbered ring. Moving the ring slowly, she set the code numbers 1-1-3-8 and then pushed the ring into lock mode. Immediately, a red warning light blinked on. She had 30 seconds to get away, the same time as a manual ejection in an atmosphere. Quickly she jumped off of the Evasor and ran back towards a large scrap heap. The internal timer counted down as Syrenia was completely protected in her Kyrie suit, helmet down, and lying on the ground. The timer soon expired and a huge explosion lit up the night sky with a tremendous shock wave rocking the scrap pile and shaking the ground. High above her in the debris field the two Gretchs picked up the explosion and accelerated down to the uncharted planetoid. Waiting in the open was a Sith Kyrie who flash-signaled the GR-25s for landing. These were equipped with hypercom gear and holomorphic recorders. Syrenia removed her helmet and spoke into the Magic Eye of one of the Gretches. “Syrenia here, Evasor lost, need a replacement sent immediately… and oh YES, Lady Kaliah lives, last seen heading away in an ISR-1099 piloted by a JunKar male, Syrenia out”.
