On Jeranu, the capital of Elysia, Queen Serapha was still in a state of shock after hearing news of Krystallis' destruction at the hands of the Sith. The state was in official mourning ever since the Gathering of Twelve announced to the populace that despite all attempts to discern Lady Kaliah’s fate in the Guideway Battle, the Seers could only tell of a great darkness, death, and destruction. One seer, Lady Divinia Anwar, had a brief vision of Lady Kaliah in great emotional distress, tears streaming from her eyes. Due to the sensitive nature of this vision that Halo-chron image was kept unrecorded. The sacred Journal of Hope had always chronicled the eternal battle of light and darkness but never before had such darkness been encountered. Lady Kaliah had discovered a pathway to light and with it an ominous vision that could not be shared with anyone. But Our Lady had revealed that ultimately light would triumph over darkness. Queen Serapha tried to comfort her people with these words but even the most peaceful of the Whills demanded justice. They had neither the starships nor troops to fight the Sith, yet justice must prevail somehow. The Heroes of Light would have wanted it that way. From the balcony of the Royal Palace of Light overlooking a wide circular outer courtyard massed with Whills, Queen Serapha ordered the Elysian flag lowered. Tears swelled in her eyes, not only at the loss of her daughter but the galaxy’s purest Seer. All of Elysia wept.
