| CHAPTER III: THE TASK AT HAND On Hael, in the Great Room of the Dark Master’s To accomplish remote viewing all Sith Seers were specially chosen females who from their thirteenth year never cut their black hair. Once the length reached the floor each female was considered ready for the test. They were to be chaste and bound to a circular ceremonial platform before all Nine Dark Lords who chanted in circles around her exposed body. They circled sixty-six times and at the end a Sith ceremonial dagger was taken and two incisions were made on each cheek of the female plus one on her forehead. She was then clothed in a special obsidian ceremonial garment and a Seer transcendar helm was placed upon her head. By secret lottery, one Dark Lord was chosen and the potential Dark Seer had to read the Dark Lord’s thoughts and dreams. If she could do this, she would advance for further training in the Black Arts. “Is she dead?” inquired… no, demanded Lord Rexor. “Difficult to see Master, her light is masked for now.” “And what of Dominion?” A brief silence, then…“Destroyed as well“, replied Syrenia, emotionally detached. Lord Rexor was not amused and harshly responded, “then take your ship with all speed and find the ship that picked up that object. Lady Kaliah may have hidden her secret in that floating… coffin.”
Is that your wish, my Master? spoken coldly by Syrenia as she removed her transcendar helm.
Syrenia departs, eager to join in battle once again, for she had not revealed that to her bond mate.
