But before Syrenia could strike, there was a great disturbance heard in the stadium; something was going on down the hall, and then suddenly a rider appeared on a black hursa shooting every Kyrie in his path. Syrenia recognized that male JunKar from Na’Baiya and could not believe her eyes. With two KA-47s Bo’ shot the fire blade out of Syrenia’s hands and emptied the guns all over the balcony killing five of the Nine Dark Lords as Lord Rexor sped off on his Levitating Throne. Syrenia had been shot multiple times and was downed, but was determined to finish them both. Bo’ got off Dark Beauty and cut Kali down with a hot blade. The crowd below was in shock and watched the scene unfold as they stood in rapt attention. The Sith loved a good fight. For they were a warrior race and this battle was not yet over. Bo’ pulled Kali’s bloodied body from the posts and laid her across Dark Beauty as Syrenia crawled in her own blood over towards her fire blade. Bo’ threw the empty KA-47s to the ground as an army of Kyries massed at the hall blocking his exit. Syrenia pulled herself to her feet and ignited the fire blade. She would kill the Whill Seer no matter what the cost. Bo’ was resigned to die with Kali ,but she was still alive. Bo’ took her bloody hand into his. Eyes closed, she faintly talked to Bo’ in a broken voice, “Clear your mind and spirit and you will summon the force, that light may defeat darkness. Bo’ did as she instructed and knelt down next to Dark Beauty and Kali, her blood running in streaks along his arm as he held her hand tightly. The Siths were on their feet now chanting, “FINISH THEM, FINISH THEM”. The Kyries approached but Syrenia waved them back. These kills were hers alone. Bo’ opened up his heart and begged the life force to allow them to live because he loved her and love should always prevail. His heart pleaded for help. Syrenia raised up the fire blade once more and gloated with anticipated triumph, blood dripping from her painful wounds. The crowd grew silent as the crimson blade’s crackling and sizzling sound filled the stadium. For a moment there was absolute silence… then a loud whining sound and roar was coming from outside. The stadium began to rock and then a tremendous explosion tore away half the structure and sent the stadium seating crashing down killing tens of thousands of Sith. A bright light shone as the familiar shape of a starship turned around and lowered its ramp to the balcony railing. It was the FALCON!!! Syrenia’s body had been smashed against an obsidian wall by the Falcon’s blast but she was still alive. Several of the Kyries in the hall fired on the Falcon but it’s auto turbo-pulsers cut them to shreds, re-painting the black balcony with red splattered Sith blood. Bo’ mounted Dark Beauty and guided her to the back of the balcony. Kailen held the ship steady and the hursa knew what to do without Bo’s impulse controls. The hursa sped to the end of the railing and jumped twenty feet onto the Falcon’s ramp and walked up it, down the corridor and into the passenger area as the ramp retracted. Below, all of Hael was in confusion as the Grand Stadium collapsed and burned. Tens of thousands of Sith were buried alive or crushed to death beneath tons of charred rubble. The Falcon continued to fire on the Sith and their exposed war weapons, causing massive destruction. Many patrolling Tactical Roller 8 x8 Carriers were overturned and burning in Hael’s streets. Bursts from thousands of defense guns lit up the dark sky but the Falcon was already out of the atmosphere, cutting through the fire of five Black Ravens and swiftly approaching the Destroyer Fallen Star. Having barely escaped with his life, Lord Rexor ordered Supreme Commander Max-Kyller to destroy that ship or it meant his life. Fallen Star opened up with some of its guns but the ship was still fitting out and many of the C, T, and M-Packs were inoperable. Max-Kyller ordered the shielded Rekurium reactor started and the massive 2,000 ft long destroyer moved forward, its mighty red ion plasma RIP engines glowing red hot. However, the Falcon had a modified hyperdrive and Kailen dodged all of Fallen Star’s incoming fire. Smiling in relief, she programmed the co-ordinates for Elysia into the navi-processor and pushed the throttles wide open. The ship disappeared off Fallen Star’s scanners into hyperspace while Max-Kyller frantically ordered his ship to pursue. “We can’t”, responded one of the engineers. “WHY NOT???” screamed Kyller at the top of his lungs. “Because the hyperdrive isn’t installed yet!” Kyller had the urge to kill the engineer but then another one reported more bad news, “Sir, it also appears that your personal hursa “Dark Beauty” was stolen and was aboard that ship. Your hursa made their escape possible. Lord Rexor demands a report right now.” Kyller pulled his modified Whelther pistol from his holster and aimed it at the engineer, hand trembling… but then turned it back on himself and put a hyper-round through his head, splattering the new reinforced bridge walls with his brains. Maintenance droids were on the spot in no time to clean the walls… Lord Rexor ordered an emergency Airlyter to take Syrenia’s mangled body to the Sith Temple on the On Elysia the entire rescue had been viewed by millions and the people rejoiced. Several of the new Blue Diamond Mk.Is star fighters went up to meet the Falcon when it appeared over Elysia and brought Lady Kaliah home to safety. Another Whill star fighter launched a volley of Star Streaker missiles against the giant Sith GCN probe com carrier, sending it up in a ball of fire. Lady Kaliah was back home while the Sith seethed in anger. 70,000 Sith had died at the destroyed Grand Stadium and the demand for revenge was overwhelming. Dark Master Lord Rexor prepared for all-out war. The Whills will pay dearly for their defiance. We will attack Elysia and take them by sheer force. They shall all perish in violence. May their blood flow like a mighty river. |
